Electric two-wheeler manufacturer e3 Mobility will install a total of 86 new Battery Swap Stations (BSS) across seven regions nationwide as part of the 2024 Regional Zero-Emission Vehicle Transition Brand Project, led by the Ministry of Environment. The initiative will be carried out in close collaboration with local governments in major metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Busan, as well as Seongnam, Changwon, Namyangju, Gumi, and Suwon.

This infrastructure expansion goes beyond merely increasing the number of stations—it marks a significant step toward establishing a full-fledged eco-friendly mobility ecosystem within each region. With demand for electric motorcycles growing rapidly in the delivery and logistics sectors, the new BSS network is expected to greatly enhance the convenience and practicality of electric motorcycle use.

Previously, e3 Mobility participated in the Ministry of Environment’s brand projects in 2022 and 2023, installing and operating 108 stations across 102 sites in Daegu and 70 stations in Seoul. With this foundation, the company has built a dense charging network in the capital and southeastern regions, and the upcoming expansion brings them closer to achieving a truly nationwide infrastructure.

e3 Mobility is not only focused on hardware deployment but also investing heavily in software optimization and improvements to its operational and management systems. This includes real-time monitoring of battery exchanges, automated maintenance, and enhancements to user experience, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted use of electric motorcycles for all riders.
