Secures Motor Supply Deal with Hyundai Kefico; Expands Push into Southeast Asia’s EV Market

In July 2022, electric two-wheeler specialist E3 Mobility signed major supply agreements with three of Indonesia’s leading corporations—PLN (the state electricity company), GRAB (Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing service), and TELKOM Indonesia (the national telecommunications provider).
Under these agreements, E3 Mobility will supply electric motorcycles to support each company’s expanding mobility services.
This marks a significant milestone in E3 Mobility’s entry into the Southeast Asian market and validates the competitiveness of its technology-driven lineup.
At the heart of the deal is the ‘DEUX 7’, a 125cc-class electric motorcycle developed by E3 Mobility. Designed for both performance and practicality, the DEUX 7 features powerful torque, a compact city-friendly frame, and ample onboard storage—making it an ideal solution for dense urban environments and delivery-based mobility services.
The vehicle is powered by a high-efficiency electric motor developed in collaboration with Hyundai Kefico, combining reliable performance with energy efficiency.
E3 Mobility is currently preparing to establish a production facility in South Korea, with construction planned to begin within the year.
In addition, the company is conducting research and development into battery swapping systems (BSS), aiming to enhance charging convenience and scalability in the near future.
An E3 Mobility spokesperson commented,
“This supply agreement not only marks our official entrance into the Indonesian market, but also demonstrates growing global trust in our product line. With DEUX 7 leading the way, we’re committed to becoming a key player in the future of electric mobility across Southeast Asia.”
